A couple of days ago, Harlem native and hip-hop artist Promise NYC decided that he was going to release a verse every day in September for our enjoyment. So far, he’s released four but he does plan to release make-up verses for the days he’s missed. His latest verse is a freestyle over the classic Dead Presidents beat and if I must say so myself, he does it justice, but you can listen above and decide for yourself.
