August Alsina Ft. Curren$y – "Let Me Hit That"

R&B vocalist August Alsina enlists the assistance of his fellow New Orleanian musician Spitta for his new song, “Let Me Hit That.” Had you not seen the artwork for the track, one would most likely automatically assume that the song is about the two pursuing a beautiful female and trying to win his way into her pants. Who knows, though? It could either refer to that or Mary Jane. I really enjoyed listening to this song, it’s very laidback… something you can ride to on a hot summer night. The Cassius Jay-produced track will be featured on Alsina’s upcoming mixtape, “The Product II,” which is set to drop on May 6.
