With all of the uproar from President Obama’s recent announcement of his support of same-sex marriage, many artists have been voicing their opinions on the matter of equal rights and rapper-singer, Brave is no different. Having found inspiration in her dire need to express to the world that everyone should be treated equally and with dignity and respect, regardless of their sexual preferences, gender, ethnicity and/or religious beliefs; “Break Me Down” is the outcome of Brave’s inspiration.
